Multi-unit franchise owner, and military veteran, Rick Davies, explains that business ownership is often a great second career for veterans, due to their ability to thrive in a structured environment, their advanced social skills, and accountability for their work.
Rick joined PropertyGuys.com in 2006 and owns three franchise locations in Southern Ontario. He sees many parallels between his military training and running a successful franchise. “You have to be flexible in the military and as an entrepreneur,” he said. “It’s important to be aware that what you planned on doing might not be what you end up doing.”
